Lakewood Connection Bridge
Lakewood Connection Bridge
In December of 2012 Pease Construction completed Lakewood Station Connection Bridge in Lakewood, Washington for the City of Lakewood. The scope of work included a pedestrian bridge from the Lakewood Station across the existing railroad tracks to allow transit and pedestrian access to the Station from the north side. The project also included street improvements including curb, gutter, sidewalk, bike lanes, and other roadway improvements. A small plaza connects the bridge to the cul-de-sac at the end of Kendrick Street. This project was part of the Sounder Expansion project to Lakewood.
